Bayou City Artisans:
glass, metal, and more

About Us

Bayou City Artisans has evolved from the dining room table - to the spare bedroom
- to an 1800 sq. ft. private studio in Southeast Houston.

The studio is a relaxing, collaborative environment with classes and workshops hosted at scheduled times during the year.  Studio days and get-togethers centered on art glass and metals are being planned and will be posted soon!

Paul says, “ About 13 years ago a demo on glass bead making at a bead show in the Houston Heights led to classes on bead making.   After several classes, I decided I wanted to make bigger things out of glass which led to hot glass fusing classes and the purchase of the largest kiln available in Houston at the time.  The studio is now equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and tools for glass and metal working.”

Beverly says, “ I have been making jewelry and crafting almost all my life.  Metal working classes at Art League Houston provided techniques to begin experimenting with new ways to enhance my jewelry and its uniqueness.  I enjoy incorporating fused glass into my jewelry.  I also do larger pieces for display. “
